There are almost no physical limits to its performance providing your web team with an array of tools to manage their libraries searching and selecting images via extension, size, creation date, thumbnail image, description or full audit histories.

The Sitekit Image Library provides a structured and searchable area for holding all graphic elements used on the site. The library currently supports GIF, JPG, PNG and SWF files for import and display. Files are limited to 250kBytes for a single file. Sitekit CMS's dynamic resize feature (see feature below) means that you need only store one version of a specific image rather than a selection at differing resolutions. The image library also support copyright based metadata, when set this means that an image can never be displayed on the site without its supporting copyright text.
Sitekit CMS unique feature:
You can create templates in Sitekit CMS that specify the maximum allowable width for an image. When rendering the page, Sitekit CMS does a 'true' resize of the image, reducing it in Bytes as well as pixels, to fit the required page format. This means that you can create width restricted templates without fear that later users will break them with new images.
