1995    Gaelnet

Specialising in Internet, e-business and multimedia solutions Gaelnet grew quickly earning itself a reputation for customer service and quality work. Producing numerous award winning websites for commercial and public sector customers. Gaelnet began developing a set of software tools to provide complete control over website management; the birth of Sitekit CMS.

2000    Sitekit Solutions Ltd

Sitekit is created with a clear goal, to become the leading provider of web content management tools. German software development guru Chris Eckl joins the team to build Sitekit CMS as the industry standard for excellence in website management.

2005    Sitekit

Sitekit CMS powers more than 300 UK brands online. Recognised as best of breed in online accessibility, usability and promotion. Deloitte Fast 50 Winner five years running.

2006    Launch of Sitekit CMS v7

November 2006 sees the launch of Sitekit CMS v7 which has been designed to lead the CMS market through advances in natural search engine optimisation, latest in software usability, website compliance and multilingual control in more than forty languages.
