Familiar editing interface

Sitekit CMS uses a Microsoft Office ‘ribbon’ style interface, giving users an immediately familiar and fast editing environment.

Tools are logically grouped on different tabs, making the system intuitive to use for different processes, and speeding up access to the features that are used most often. Routine tasks, such as adding pages, can be completed in seconds.

Application-like functionality

Editors benefit from application-like functionality in other areas too: Sitekit CMS allows users to run several editing windows at the same time, and switch between them easily. This makes it simple to compare page layouts side by side, or make the same change to a series of pages.

Multi-tasking capabilities

The system allows unlimited editor windows to be open simultaneously, enabling editors to multi-task. This is useful when an editor needs to make the same change on a series of different pages, or prefers to work on several pages at one time.

 

Publishing toolbar

Sitekit CMS' publishing toolbar allows editors to review their pages prior to publishing - editors can compare the updated page with the live page, ensuring that their changes will not affect page layout, maintaining the desired look. Page design layouts, or templates, can be altered as needed.
Editors are also able to see all page edits, by time/date and editor.
