Version 7 is a major release of Sitekit CMS. In version 7, the Sitekit CMS Control Panel has been restyled to incorporate valuable feedback from customers and partners with the latest developments in browser based software usability. The new visual changes have improved the accessibiltiy, clarity and speed of the interface. Please follow this link for further information on version 7's visual changes.

In addition to these visual improvements, version 7 provides a further nine functional improvements.

• Fullname rather than username used in page header for author to prevent spam.
• Reduce login page to 2 inputs and add configurable background images.
• Site settings configurable password reminder in login screen.
• Search highlighting in search page.
• Additional editorial tree icon for rerouted pages.
• 'Captcha' graphic added to guestbooks to reduce spam.
• Site settings configurable server/client side tree switch added.
• Configurable extranet login page.
• Improved metadata searches with wildcards and concatenated associated metadata in metadata search.
