Sitekit Labs are pleased to announce the names of six distinguished Academic and Industrial Fellows, who have agreed to contribute their expertise to the research work being carried out at the Lab.
Calum MacRae MD PhD - Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA.
Catherine Havasi - Researcher in Linguistics and Computation at Brandeis University, Boston, MA, USA.
Dr Andrew Sergeant - Head of Programmes and Development, North and Mid Hampshire Health Informatics Service (NHS.)
Dr. Amir Hussain PhD - Reader in Computing Science, and lead member of the Natural Computing and Care Technologies Research Groups at Stirling University.
Mike Grandinetti - MBA - Senior Lecturer, MIT Sloan School of Management, MIT, Boston, USA.
Elizabeth Vokurka PhD - Intellectual Property Management and Innovation Consultant
The appointment of these highly commended individuals from prestigious national and international institutions provides Sitekit Labs with valuable links to world class universities and industrial markets. Having both Academic and Industrial Fellows puts Sitekit Labs in a unique position which ensures the research into new technologies is well directed towards addressing large scale problems that have potentially viable commercial solutions.

One early focus area of the Sitekit Labs’ research that the Fellows are already involved in is innovative semantic web applications in e-health that can greatly improve the performance of healthcare providers such as NHS Trusts and improve online services for patients.
