With version 7.17 Sitekit have enhanced the security of the interace and made it easier for individual site administrators to apply that security.

In addition to the above, version 7.17 contains a beta version of the streamlined two-stage editing interface.

Other changes:

• Password expiry period so users are forced to periodically replace passwords.
• Password policies - administrators can set how 'strong' an acceptable password needs to be.
• New 'home' page menu option returns you to the initial page in the CMS that you logged in to.
• Improved searching - a common search interface has been added for news images, files and pages.
