Version 7 is a major release of Sitekit CMS. In version 7, the Sitekit CMS Control Panel has been restyled to incorporate valuable feedback from customers and partners with the latest developments in browser based software usability. The new visual changes have improved the accessibiltiy, clarity and speed of the interface. Please follow this link for further information on version 7's visual changes.

In addition to these visual improvements, version 7.2 provides a further eight functional improvements.

• 'Promotion view' a new menu option bringing together all the search engine related information on a site in one administration location.
• Upgrading of Xstandard text editor to latest (IE7 compliant) version.
• Changes to menu structore making it more logical.
  Optimistation of group rights and global variable options to make them more usable.
• Addition of categorisation and external links in news modules.
• Simplification of templates interface to hide less commonly used items.
• Provision of Excel™ to XML conversion.
• Styling of the extranet login box is now possible.
