Citizen engagement is essential for transforming health and care. Key to that engagement is a Personal Health Record that is accessible to everyone – from friends and families through to health and care professionals – supported through secure and easy to use digital authentication and citizen identity.

Person-centred records can help provide seamless patient experiences across health and care organisations. They also provide the necessary frameworks for reporting outcomes.

This event will explore some of the collaborative work in flight across the UK and the necessary building blocks and business cases that are driving sustainable change in this space.

NHS England will report on progress with the digital Child Health Information Strategy and the eRedbook field test at NHS London. Liverpool CCG will provide insight on how people in Liverpool can access digital NHS and social care services through the ‘More Independent’ platform, and Microsoft will give an update on the Microsoft Health Platform.
