Sitekit, together with content partner Maverick TV have won the ScotlandIS Digital Technology Award 2015 in the Public Sector category for their work on the ‘Living it Up portal project’.

The DigiTech Awards showcase excellence within the IT industry rewarding the innovation, expertise and ambition of businesses, large and small.

Living it Up’ is an online self-management hub that empowers people aged over 50 to use technology to manage their wellbeing, feel more in control of their health and get better connected in their local communities.

The person-centred platform provides wellbeing tracking tools, technology enabled services, and a wealth of personalised  lifestyle information for people living with long term conditions, as well as advice and support for those that care for them.

Sitekit and Maverick TV submitted their joint entry, representing the digital technology and content aspects of the project, which was a co-production including digital, health and care partners including NHS24 and local health and care partnerships.

Campbell Grant, CEO of Sitekit, said: “We’re ecstatic to have received the DigiTech award for 'Best Public Sector Product/Service’. We hope that by winning this award more people will learn about the Living it Up platform, which is leading the digital transformation in the way NHS Scotland interacts with citizens to improve their wellbeing. Now that Living it Up’s pilot innovation phase has completed, we welcome anyone with an interest in offering person-centred, connected health and well-being services to get in touch.”
