Health app developers and commissioners will work together to create rich and engaging apps for the Mi (more independent) platform at a hackathon in Liverpool on 8 September.

Mi is a health platform that will enable people to take charge of their health and wellbeing using self-care technology. Partners in Mi include Black Pear, Digital Life Sciences, Future Coders, Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust, Phillips, Red Ninja, Tunstall and Sitekit.

After a successful first hackathon in June, we are now organising a second event that is open to all digital health application developers and commissioners. The day-long event will allow people to get acquainted with the Mi platform and collaborate with others to create innovative digital health solutions.

The agenda for the day will include:

  • Mi in a business context: why we need dHealth and how Mi addresses this need --featuring speakers from Liverpool CCG, Microsoft and Sitekit.
  • At the codeface: app development partners will be challenged to build an end-to-end solution for a referral from a care provider to a step-down app.

If you’re interested in joining the Hackathon, please register for the event.
