Sitekit CEO wins Scottish Life Sciences Business Leadership Award 2018

In a night of convivial dinner, networking and celebration Sitekit’s founder and CEO Campbell Grant has been recognised for his outstanding achievement in business leadership at this year’s Scottish Life Sciences Dinner and Annual Awards.

Scotland's Life Sciences Dinner & Annual Awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the individuals, companies and research organisations that constitute Scotland’s internationally-recognised life sciences sector over the past twelve months.

Campbell led Sitekit’s decision in 2008 to focus on the health and care sector and in the next 10 years the company grew to become an acknowledged innovator and leader in the Digital Health and Care sector. Sitekit was a technical partner in all four ‘DALLAS’ projects and Sitekit’s flagship digital health product, eRedbook, the digital version of the traditional child health record is setting the standard for interoperability and health messaging in the UK. Sitekit has been working in London with NHS England and NHS Digital to establish interoperability between multiple service providers to eRedbook as a digital Personal Health Record where data, from local child health information systems is aggregated. Interoperability of this kind is crucial to unleashing the promise of digital health integrated health and care services.

Campbell won the award facing formidable competition from the ‘Beast from the East’ (the infamous snowstorm of February 2018 which delayed the ceremony by two months). Other nominees in the category CEO of ESPL Regulatory Consulting Dr Helen Erwood and Hugh Griffith, Founder and CEO of NuCana plc. Congratulations to them both on their nominations and distinguished leadership of their respective companies.

Celebrating the award, Campbell attributed it to “many years of great work by the dedicated team at Sitekit”
