Sitekit Identity - enabling digital transactions in the cloud

Following on from several years of research and development projects in Identity and Access Management (IAM) for digital health platforms, Sitekit identified secure cloud-based digital identities as the fundamental requirement for integrated, joined-up digital services.

Over the course of 2015-17 Sitekit delivered successful proof-of-concept work that validated technologies and market need. Early in 2017 Sitekit’s Identity Business Unit was formed to exploit this success, with the ambition of becoming Identity and Access Management (IAM) market leaders in the UK by 2020.

Sitekit’s identity offerings have crystallised into three main propositions:

  • Central Government IAM consultancy – shaping strategy and technology roadmaps for departments moving to new identity platforms for staff and citizens
  • Local and Regional Government (LRG) citizen identity platform – which provides local and regional governments a route to having a population-scale identity solution up and running quickly, enabling greater citizen self-service and delivering savings this financial year.
  • Enterprise identity and access management – consultancy enabling businesses to manage their staff and transact with partners and clients simply and securely.

Core to all our offerings is Sitekit’s fundamental tenet of user value through joined-up cloud based digital services managed in a secure and compliant way.

While demand for Sitekit’s IAM services has rapidly increased, there has been a focus within the unit on building the team and growing capacity – ensuring the team will continue to deliver, consolidate and grow on into 2019 and beyond, with the clear ambition of becoming UK IAM market leaders by 2020.
